20 Minute Christmas Ornament
If you have a handful of supplies, then you can make this 20 Minute Christmas Ornament (or an entire set as I did.)
I love small trees, they are easy to store, fast to decorate, and cheap to buy. And because they are smaller, you don't need a ton of ornaments either. My goal is to have one in every room by next year, and I am well on my way towards that! I added this one to the spot between my front door and dining room. Rather than buy all the ornaments, I opted to make mine.
Today I want to share the ones that created with my Silhoutte, a smidge of red vinyl, and plain ornaments from the Hobby Lobby.
To make these are so simple, start by choosing a font, or fonts, on your computer. I went with a couple of fonts just for personality. I put all of mine in one place in the Silhouette Design Studio, and with one cutting session, my vinyl is cut.
Vinyl is so easy to work with, if you want to know more about cutting vinyl using an e-cutter, leave it in the comments below.
Then all that's left is using a transfer sheet to move the vinyl off the cutting paper and then apply them to your ornaments. These are the fastest way to decorate plain Christmas ornaments into personalized decor ever!
These ornaments also make wonderful gifts!
I think quick crafts like this are ideal for this time of year when everyone is so busy. Thanks for sharing with us at Handmade Monday.
